Listen motherfuckers, I am not going to subscribe for $50 per year to your motherfucking site because that is bullshit. I was ok before you jumped the shark by tracking me to the four corners of the internet and weighing down every fucking page with tons of useless and annoying crap. It would cost me thousands of f###ing dollars per year to read your bullshit site and all the other bullshit sites I read. If you would get your lazy asses together and create a micropayment system that would let me sign up as a member and automatically deduct some amount equivalent what you earn on average from ads ($0.02?), I would put $50 in my account tomorrow and we would both be better off.
List Boston.com you a##hole, your page weight drops by 13MB when I add a blocker and LA Times, I save 4.5MB in your case.
I actually PAY for my bandwidth because I live out in the sticks. So it costs me $8/GB, which is to say that your 13MB costs me 10.4 cents. LA Times, you're not as bad, but your ads *cost* me 3.6 cents.
So if you just let me pay 3 cents per page view, I come out way ahead

So let's get rational about this and you double your earnings and charge me 1.2 cents per page view. Add in 20% for managing the program (i.e. profit for the micropayment broker) and now *everyone* is better off... except advertisers.

An acquaintance setup a Pi Hole. It's quite a difference surfing on that network. Even ads on mobile devices just disappear.
I only have one of the original (read wimpy) Pis to spare. I'm not sure it's up to the task, but I may be testing it out.
