This is fine with me. The economy of Amazon reviews is really perverse.
Most I've seen were upfront about the comp, but you rarely see any real negatives (though I did see one nix the product recently). But you know in your heart the reviewer has likely been compromised.
It's for the best. It will bring down the noise in the reviews area.

I think it is crazy that they allow reviews of products not bought anyway, it is asking for the system to be abused.
There are other ways to abuse other than just Amazon.
