Welllll, at a 30-ish percent rate of annual decline, it ain't going to be long before this industry goes lens-up.

I would like to see the long-term trends. It seems to me that there was a massive explosion in camera sales and now they're coming back to earth, with the added accelerant of better cell-phone cameras.

To some extent, it's like how CD sales got a massive boost from the format change and that was going to come back to earth anyway, but in that case it was then just utterly destroyed by digital distribution.
