Yes!  Lately there's been a spate of small inserts of vids down the right column or as above the fold pop-ups.  Media sites, in particular, seem to think you *have* to watch vids rather than read. If I wanted a TV, I have one already.

Mute on autoplay videos seems to be a no-brainer to me.  Also, its probably in Google's self-interest to weaken the offers of the advertising competition.
