Over the weekend, a user on Twitter pointed out that two of Showtime's websites had a script running in the background that's used to hijack visitors' CPUs to mine cryptocurrency. Other users and outlets later confirmed that the code was present. Now it's gone, and Showtime refuses to answer questions.
People I sit near have added it to Chrome extensions. One of them thinks he can get $200 per day and he has been paid out a few times.

Wrong... but genius... It occurs to me that charities could try to get their members to let them do this just like SETI did (I think they were the first) and one of the genome projects
Well you can get into Mozilla if you just say.
What about wrapping it up as, "surf ad free, just let us etc etc"
I think most users wont care.
