Facebook Explore Feed is rolling out globally this week. Most people around the world can see it in their bookmarks and they can discover new content here. But in Slovakia, Sri Lanka, Serbia, Bolivia, Guatemala and Cambodia it works differently: all posts by pages are moved from newsfeed to Explore Feed. In main newsfeed are now just friend and sponsored posts.

Looks very similar to internal traffic drop-off when moving a content link (house ad) to the 2nd page.  Third page is death.

Where is the next "free" traffic hotspot? Instagram? Can't be long before Zuckerberg "fixes" that too.

QuoteWe always listen to our community about ways we might improve News Feed. People tell us they want an easier way to see posts from friends and family. We are testing having one dedicated space for people to keep up with their friends and family, and another separate space, called Explore, with posts from pages.

QuoteAs with all tests we run, we may learn new things that lead to additional tests in the coming months so we can better understand what works best for people and publishers.

They'll learn how much extra Ad revenue they will make

We are starting to see a bit of affiliate activity on IG. The main problem is you can't link from specific posts. There are some tools you can use to make the profile link more effective and we have a few affiliates with some big followings who drive some sales but it is still a very, very small piece of the pie.

Are you allowed to watermark photos?  I found that satisfying (if ineffective) when everyone stole Louise's resort photos.  With authoritative domain names it didn't look spammy if used in the copyright; © SomeResort.com

Craigslist spammers are using this technique while harvesting contacts.

Yes to watermark. Quite a few people do. Not just on the edge though. However I would say heavily watermarked stuff does not seem to get as much love
