Title: AT&T Customer Support is on the job
Post by: ergophobe on November 16, 2017, 11:27:39 PM
We're now on the second day without phone or internet service at our house and several other houses in the area.

Dealing with AT&T is to understand Kafka. But never fear, AT&T's crack customer support team is on the job

To be fair, he only said he was going to check with his team lead. He didn't say he was going to tell me the answer.

"What does 'delayed maintenance' mean?"

"Let me just ask my boss, my vocabulary is limited"

Phone companies, ironically, never seem to have enough lines to cope with the incoming support calls ...

This made it even harder. But in our case, this was our landline and our internet and they fixed it by replacing some equipment at one of the microwave relay stations.

I find it intreguing that bp232y  seems to have an autogen name.  His/her time at the company is so short and irrelevant, that someone cannot even be bothered to name them.

I was wondering about that. I also think there are other possibilities
- so many that they need individual codes to avoid namespace collisions
- protect privacy of employees who might be hunted down and assaulted if their privacy weren't protected.
