People "being offended" is going to cause issues in so many things. But then we can all call things out and virtue signal in the best possible way. Let's wear black clothes to signal how bothered we are about something we pretty much ignored.

I agree. There's an element of snowflake-ism in all this now. And it's not being helped by media hype.
But it is plainly out there and marketing is marketing so they're going to HAVE to roll with it.
