Do you guys like the mobile app? I tend to just use a browser set to "desktop" rendering.
It does seem to load gifs and videos more quickly IMHO.
I can't imagine trying to plow through reddit posts & comments on a phone screen.
Then again, I can't imagine plowing through reddit without filtering and modifying the UI with tampermonkey and ublock.

In Chrome desktop add the HoverZoom extension.
I use the mobile version which I think is a bit better than desktop, but ain't saying much.
I was quite alarmed to read the other day, a reddit post from the "Design Team". I really would like to know what those people do all day.
I use the mobile app but mainly for news. I rarely drill down to read comments.
