On my feeds, PD has been roaring for a week now. Debbie says it's bigger than Black Friday now --at least in the media. Amz is certainly getting billions of $$$ in free press.
Few ads this side of the Atlantic, and some crap news items trying to cash in on the search terms. Not much though. I assume it's less disappointing in the US. Despite having a highly developed Amazon addition, I can't get excited about Prime Day.
I did a short browse. Lots of items people might buy for their kids before they send them off to reform school college.
I'm staying away. I'm on the slippery slope of smarthome stuff and all is well as-is. (I have a cheap DIY Alexa switch module project in mind. Don't tell Bezos.)
As a netizen I find the concept of prime day annoying at best. As someone who sells on Amaon, but doesn't serve any special prime day offerings it gives me a small boost in sales.
I read that the servers crashed today at 3:00PM EST time.
Grabbed a couple more dots, I think a 2 pack was only $50.
Finding something you really want on prime day is difficult. You'd think they'd do a better job of filtering offers that might matter to us.
