Such an obscure little part.  I've adjusted many headlights on old American cars over the years, but I'm sure I would have drawn a blank if put to the test.

My reader happened to pick up the original post when he made it.  Having witnessed /r go to work, I thought then that if anywhere could ID it, reddit could.
