Title: UK wifi extension
Post by: Rupert on December 08, 2018, 06:14:27 AM
seems with automation, the start has to be great wifi coverage. A mesh works, but if a part of the mesh goes down, it needs to heal.  clever stuff, but it can take 24 hours to come right.

So, how to extend the wifi without running ethernet cables everywhere or other costly options.

USB charging for the phone too.

There is a cheaper wifi extender too.  Just realised, they are not iot compatable though.  Seriously? These need to be controllable from the hub...

RC, wall sockets come in silver in the UK too. Not all white for these.
