"Amazon today announced an acquisition that underscores how it also hopes to have a more direct — and more commercial — role in the world of healthcare in the coming years."

PillPack is a full-service pharmacy

I'm not interested in JEFF knowing my health issues!
Surprisingly little on AMZ's medical-business quest has crossed my reader since they bought PillPack seven months ago.
I heard a prediction they'll use their data to selectively offer insurance products. Health, auto, home, etc.
Searche my feeds. Nothing really concrete, just some jockeying by the players. Still vaporware.
As tech companies move into health care, here's what to watch in 2019 - The Verge

They ALL want our DATA
I saw the MS-Walgreens article but I think they're just posting fluff to show market analysts they're still in the game. Remember my tip about businesses with "Ye" or "Olde" or "Towne" in their name, or it's going to cost you bigtime? (You pay a lot for every extra "E" !!) That headline drops some markers in my bullshit-meter:
strategic partnership
to transform
BTW, I also never read an article where an author has just published a new book on the subject. Worthless almost *every* time.
