I use Ublock and scriptsafe a lot, but could get by without them. Tampermonkey does most of the heavy lifting for me on my routinely-visited websites & feeds.  Still, I'd probably switch to FF ...which is a PITA on the chromebook.

I bet the Mozilla foundation would have been ecstatic if Google had gone ahead with it.

Is it my imagination or does Google seem increasingly out of touch with the public in re. the Web?
