An article in my feeds used 'pivots' to describe the FB refocus. I think Zuck has read the tea leaves pretty well. Though this could be a smoke screen to buy time with government inquires as to privacy.

Just like Google, their whole business model is about collecting data on users. There are some things he can do to increase privacy, but both G and FB are locked into spying on you and they can't quit.
