I thought they started doing this half a year or more ago.

Let's say I'm an Islamic or right-wing extremist and I want to get into the US to actually conduct an act of terrorism or give an inflammatory lecture... wouldn't I just take 20 minutes to create three new accounts about how peace-loving and hard working I am?

Let's say I'm me and I have almost no social media presence. Can I still get in?

This seems like the investigatory equivalent of making people take their shoes off to board planes. A hassle for the many because there was that one time where they would have caught that one guy...
