Title: One of the many ways in which i waste my time.
Post by: gm66 on August 29, 2019, 01:18:45 AM
One of them is to try and find google searches for which there's no result, obviously limiting oneself to actual words, not gobbledeygook (spelling?).

I remember trying 'anal death cunt', that turned out to be a band ... 'i'm going to set your baby on fire' being one of their hits.

I just found one, it happens now and then, it was 'led joke guy' (as in light emiting diode).

I guess it may be a cheap way in to finding unusual business models ;+}

I don't know why i post these things here, it's because i've left twitter probably. I'm sorry ;+}

When I was still active as a historian (through 2012), I constantly came up with searches for which there were no results in Google. And they weren't nonsense. They were legit research topics, which illustrates why scholarship takes a lot of patience.

I'll bet that one got a ton of airplay on the BBC

Didn't know you were a historian, that's unexpected! Any particular time-frame?

16th-century Geneva, primarily about 1535 to 1565.
