Many people don't really understand the concept of owning things nowadays. The best example nowadays is buying games on the Steam platform. It's more of a service than actually owning the game. You actually buy the license to download and play the game you paid for. There are so many rules of what you can't do with it. You can't even sell it since your Steam account cannot be sold. It's against their TOS. Heading into more of a subscription age worries me a lot too.
