They haven't "killed" pages. They are just making it so that what does show up should be better quality than most of the shit that pops up in the Facebook feed at the moment.

Let's hope that it will give clear pricing for Scumbagair rather than the obfuscated fecking mess that's their booking site.

Meanwhile I await the appearance of fairies at the bottom of my garden.

Three orders for cabinet knobs of different size, easy right. Oh no. The catalogue said one color and what came was all three different. They said it was my fault!! There must be much better quality control in mfg, inventory, shipping, etc. to replace bricks. Amazon comes close thou.

I'll bet Tiff is dyslexic. I'll bet Amazon is going to pay North Carolina's tax.

Busted as it not as hyped out as they wanted you to believe and disproved many things, sure the world warmed and now it has gotten cooler, when that happened it then became Climate Change so now they can claim it is the end of the world if it gets hotter or colder...

Google even suggesting ads on Nest is pretty disgusting to me. When I pay for a device from a company that is where they should be getting their profit - don't bait and switch and then serve ads to me.

I don't know how many people do it, but you can bet Mozilla does via the Test Pilot programme and other means, and wouldn't be pursuing it as an option if there was no money to be made.

I don't think that social media marketing is waste of time because nowadays it is very important for directing more people towards a website which will also improve the ranking. All the business (including well established brands and small business concerns) are using social media channels for getting connected with big community of people. I am also posting contents on social media which is directing more people towards my website. However, it sounds good to read your analysis about social media marketing for today's world.

It's great that Mozilla have woken up to value of tracking in deliverng relevant content. However, this is the browser that decimated targeted advertising revenue for millions of websites by leading the 'do not track' charge.

Tracking was the best tool we had to deliver a better experience. Privacy concerns needed addressing, but they used a sledgehammer to crack the nut. Between Do Not Track and the utterly ridiculous EU cookie law, many users now see all tracking as some nefarious attempt to invade privacy and are scared of cookies.

I'm still using Firefox, but only through inertia. For a long time it was the best browser available. This hypocrisy is just the motivation I need to move on.

Facebook is good for keeping in touch with friends and families banal activities and terrible for privacy. Their model is also terrible for business and I don't know why they would pretend otherwise or why every business thinks they should be on Facebook. I think it is something that people think they need to do otherwise be chastised by the simple crowd-followers of the world who say - "if your business isn't even on Facebook then you're nobody or are clueless". Unfortunately your boss is likely to be one of these people.
