That would be really interesting as far as I'm concerned. I manage a few fairly decent sized Google Ads accounts so the keyword data would be really useful and we dabble in dropcatching .uk domains using our Nominet tag so the domain data would be ace as well.

Seeing the same patterns as you folks are for ecommerce sites. Across the board desktop conversions roughly double that of mobile with tablet dragging along at the bottom of the pile.

But from lead gen based sites the general rule is that mobile converts at treble that of desktop.

Starting from today the .uk registry Nominet are no longer showing registrant name and contact details as default in the Whois.

Previously they allowed individuals to opt out from showing their details but it was mandatory for businesses and other organisations. Now all registrant contact details are hidden by default unless a registrant explicitly requests that their details are shown in the whois database.

I've tried searches at several of the large tag holders and I'm yet to see a registrant name showing for any domain as yet.

Clearly a GDRP inspired process put in place by Nominet but this seems like a retrograde step in my opinion. It was always very useful checking the legitimacy of a site by looking at the Whois, now any wannabe scammer is going to gravitate towards .uk so they can stay anonymous.

Not to mention the additional workload that will inevitably be placed on tag holders when members of the public field requests to the tag holder for registrant information, etc.

Not impressed!

I was suffering from dizziness/vertigo symptoms for several months last year and was eventually diagnosed with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).

Hope your mother is on the mend Littleman because vertigo isn't pleasant at all. I was lucky that there was a treatment called the Epley maneuver which sorted me out after 2 or 3 sessions. The BPPV hasn't returned since thank goodness.

There are two tablets in our household - an old iPad and a Kindle Fire HD. The novely factor wore off some time ago and it's only the young 'un that uses tablets consistently now.

When considering a tablet with the inherent inconvenience of having a worse battery and heavier than my mobile phone I would just prefer to use the mobile phone. Everything that a tablet can do can be done just as well on a decent large screen mobile phone.

Saying that, I would prefer to use a small laptop over all devices tbh. The only time I use tablets these days is for website compatibility testing (and even that can be done online instead).
