I think you are probably right Ergo.  I'm sure there are lots of sensors in those bots that assess their placements and the physics exerted on them when they do their movements and on the fly adjustments need to be made in real time.

For now, we're safe, because Atlas can't go very long at all on a charge. That presents us with a quandary.

If battery tech does not improve, we face planetary disruption and dislocation from climate change.
