Looks like it is intended to pull customers away from Tesla.  They need to abandon that Night Rider style steering wheel though.

Terrible brand name, but sleek looking car.

>>Night Rider style steering wheel

Probably not going to make it from prototype to production. Do any production cars currently have steering wheels like that? It gives good visibility of the dashboard, but the average American is more concerned with being able to steer with the left hand at 11-12 o'clock while holding a 7-11 Big Gulp in the right.

Nooooo!  Are you kidding?  I think that was a design choice to appeal to Gen Xers.  And it even *looks* like a silver Knight Rider Kit car in that photograph!

I think it is one of these things that look cool but kinda suck in daily use.

Like gull wing doors. They seem really impractical in many situations, but unquestionably the coolest doors.

I'd trust Sony with data security a lot more than the legacy automakers.

I'm pretty sure steering wheels are regulated to be completely round and of a certain size for production vehicles.

All screens and no buttons though? /shudder
