About time.  For years the larger tech media has always overlooked Mojeek in their lists of alt search engines, although they will mention  a dozen dodgy Bing retreads started by Tom, Dick or Harry. And you never hear alleged experts SEW, SEJ or SEL ever mention Mojeek. Only smaller (but respected) blogs about privacy or search have mentioned it.  Now, Mojeek is getting some traction and good on them.

Should the EU ever break up Google, my prediction is 20 new search engine startups will be announced within a month with some money behind them.

There must be a decent kw volume for alt search engines because these kinds of articles come out all the time. A lot of them are cut and paste efforts, or just meta descriptions tacked on. No real insight.

Half the time they're completely unable to mention that half their listings are meta search engines.

Seeing some referrals from this one though.

Agree. They're just into people making a buck from the biggest search engine going, they're not really talking about search in general.
