Where would people say is the best place to sell on niche content sites? Established, half decent sites with 4 and 5 figures price tags - rather than your typical flippa-fair.

Digitalpoint is the obvious place that springs to mind.  Anyone know others?

Do we have anyone here who is involved in buying such stuff?  I'd love to pick some brains about what makes sites attractive to buy, what income multiples you look at paying etc.

For me it has always depended hugely on where the traffic comes from.

I have bough affiliate sites in the past for 6 month to 12 months current income, but that was in the days it was easier to rank, and stay ranking :)

Anything that relys on traffic from Search engines has to be low value.

Good tip right there - thanks.    I'm still old school enough that traffic = search (which UK means Google).  I need to break that habit more.

6-12 months current income - ouch!   I got 36 months on my last sale (although I know that was an exception) . I'd better not try to sell any here then! :D

I think I have a jaundiced view, and it is certainly not a complete picture, I view the market through a couple of small holes that the light comes through :)

That says a huge amount about your skill as a seller :)
