Many Catalans complain that Catalonia provides many riches and taxes to the rest of Spain -- more than they owe.

London says the same here, and Yorkshire supplies more sportsmen/women

Scotish Indi was watched closely by the Catalans I believe.

As a region, well above the median in the UK, even after deducting govt expenditure.


Like with Scotland, external influences/preferences/misinformation will likely prevent independence. The EU is keen on these things not happening.
