Page-title changes not being picked up by G

Anyone noticed G taking a while to pick up page-title changes recently?

I've forced a re-crawl on the sites and then a re-crawl on individual pages but G hasn't reflected changes in SERPs for 3 days now.

You're talking about cases where Google was using the title as written, but after the change, it is still using the old title as written?

I have had it where I rearranged the title and Google didn't, but it was a title that was already partially rewritten by Google. So in my case, it wasn't that it didn't pick up the change, it was that it didn't like it, or so it seemed to me.
