Don't you find that more and more? (i.e. reality mimicking movie/book plots?)

On the other hand, I did a stint last year of reading sci fi from the 1950s. There is an obsession with post-nuclear-holocaust world and an assumption that WWIII would happen in the 1980s or 1990s. And they completely and utterly miss the importance of the computer.
