I've seen some compelling talks from medical professionals, and anecdotal evidence from nurses here in the UK, that CV isn't all it's cracked up to be.

This video is a press conference by two doctors in Kern County, Cali and all they are doing is discussing their data so far, after more than 5,000 patients.

The video has already been taken down by YT on a few occasions but i found it again :

I am listening to the video, they are doing bad analysis.  They are looking at ongoing, dynamic numbers for CV19 deaths and comparing them to a total mortality for the flu.  They are making wild assumptions of CV19 spread based on testing data ratios, but the positive rated in California is 7.7%.  Even in NY (which has had 28.5k deaths) the positive rate is only 34%.  Another thing that may not be obvious to someone not in the USA is that testing is scares and if someone isn't wealthy and connected s/he will only get tested if sick.   If the tests are inaccurate than those assumptions are even more presumptuous.

Good points, thanks.

Yes it's un-democratic, but in light of littleman's points perhaps they shouldn't be having press conferences saying 'go back to school' when their numbers are based on ongoing, local data.
