mobile search resources?

Just to revive this one, does anyone have any good reading around the mobile arena that they would be able to share. It's something that I'm keen to move into so it would be really useful if anyone could point me in the direct of some decent links.

Specifically in my case developing and optimising a mobile site for non physical products (so local wouldn't really be an issue in my case).
