saw it testing last month - flash is large blank box so if you have any sort out the alternate!

According to SEL this will also roll out to ppc  :-\

Saw this last night, first reaction was possible death knell for ugly sites.

... or a massive boost. I suspect it will polarise traffic, some people preferring a given style, and actively hunting it down. Might well shift traffic down the results a bit

Good point there.

Walls keep getting taller.

My thought was more along the lines of "I'll bet I can draw the click with some content repositioning. Above the fold just got even more valuable."

And, yes, my sites are still ugly.

image libraries will sell a lot of pics of hot looking business women over the next couple of weeks, for sure. I think there's going to be a big market for fairly industry specific ones, certainly in sports, geek toys etc. Not sure what will help with the girls products though - perhaps that cat video will come in handy  :D

If google are talking rolling out to PPC I assume they've had reasonably high CTR from the testing. Its a pain in the arse for deeper pages though, if you have to psychoanalyse every page for whether it'll drive clicks its going to add some overhead. And another thing to charge for I guess.

Boobs.  I run a few beach sites so it should be do-able.

>cat video will come in handy

HHH. Apparently, a cat pix/vid is money in the bank.   Gawd, even reddit is overrun with them now.
