Do you think Google drive will eventually go towards affecting your login status with Google, which then goes towards making personalized results normal.

I've got the Google drive invite and downloaded it, and it's brought down all my Google docs, but the crazy thing about that is they need to open in Google docs to load, which requires a login.

So with this, Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Plus, Picasa etc.

There is little room to move without now being logged in.

Google moving towards more of a closed model, which is an amazing feet to pull of considering how they began.

Thoughts?

That's exactly the point. isn't it? So they can better track your behaviour and interests?

I guess its a frog-in-the-pot situation.  If it gradually becomes the norm people will likely accept it as no big deal.  In this way I think FB has actually helped G as it has gotten people use to the idea of always being chronicled.
