Facebook gifts

we don't have facebook gifts in the uk - does anyone have any experience with them (sending, receiving, being a 'gifts partner')?  Do you know if the manufacturer/vendor is responsible for delivery or is it an Amazon style fulfillment deal?

And importantly, do they include alcohol? Not as in 'buy me a theoretical beer' but as in 'send me a case of real beers' ?
