Trav was using it in Hawaii with great results. I figured it was doing well because HI had high tourist volume and plenty of reviews. But, based on Trav's good finds, Louise loaded it during our recent trip to a small, rural town in the Virginia mountains where we had zero experience with the current, limited selection of eateries.  Gotta say that even with just a few reviews the app did great --well enough that I raised my average weight gain from 1.25 to 1.75 pounds per day.

The only caveat is that you may need be mindful of the "youth skew" effect.
