IAC to buy Angie's List in $500M+ deal; Angie's List will be combined with HomeAdvisor to form new publicly traded company called ANGI homeservices Inc.

I think Angie's list is popular on the coasts:  Even in Dallas, I found it of no use.

I never see/hear it referenced locally or regionally.  The spot-checking I did seemed to cover more urban regions.  But it's an old dog in internet years and G Local is probably eating it alive.

A piano tuner friend in Santa Fe says a lot of his business is off Angie's List. That's not exactly a coast or a huge metro.
