Hi,

Someone has added a link to Harlow.co.uk from the header of their site, as part of an exchange.

Harlowride dot co dot uk

The site uses frames, and I was wondering if the link to Harlow.co.uk would count from a framed page?

Thanks, Phil

Gurtie

The frame the link appears in is indexed by Google Phil, so in the sense that Search Engines will probably know about the link, yes, it counts.

Frames, that a blast from the past.

If you look at the source of the site you will see a link to this page

http://www.harlowride.co.uk/indextop.htm

So it will count.

You might want to get them to change the image to a text link to get anchor text benefit.

I used to hate frames - right up till the time that I worked out that a lot of the accepted workaround techniques has massive scope for abuse :)

Some of the frameset 're-unite' scripts served as a good 'water-muddier' for massive numbers of doorway pages.

Probably would still work Ok now, might try it again for fun.
