I have a friend how is about to create a charity in India to help local kids get an education etc. He is based there working for a huge international company and they would like to be able to offer all of their employees the option to be come sponsors with a monthly payment. Paypal might not be suitable in India.

People dont actually have to login to donate, but they do need a receipt for tax reasons.

How would you put something like this together?

You could have a look at 2checkout
Easy to set up for monthly payments, paypal + credit cards accepted
Based on an the ping you get with each transaction you could send receipts, or they may even have standard receipt sending for that .. not sure.
