One massive incovenience outweighed another massive incovenience.

But I'm also aware of just how cloistered we at th3core have become and that's part of it. The intensive "family immersion" time during the holidays reminded me that everyone BUT us now defaults to their phone. Those of us who *need* a laptop are looked upon as dinosaurs.

I will tell you that if I were designing sites now, I'd be phone-centric with a graceful degredation into desktop view --sort of a reverse bootstrap.

I was talking to a potential hire the other day and trying to assess tech skills. I said something like when's the last time you were on a desktop or notebook pc? blank stare..... so I said you know, like you got online and it wasn't a mobile device. She said basically never, I can do anything I need from mobile. Then I gave the blank stare.
