Anyone who links their primary phone to a web service is nuts.  I typically use an inactive G Voice number which goes nowhere.  I've had a few weak moments, one with Amz Alexa, which I now regret though I haven't seen it abused (yet). Amz wouldn't recognize my GV number. I should have bought a throwaway phone.
