Text says the asking price is $550,000

But without seeing the interior, who knows. You can spend $20,000 on an oven and $200/sf on Italian marble.

Rumor is we're getting something similar in the neighborhood this year apparently. Not actual shipping containers, but similarly sized modular units that will be put in place with a crane once the foundation is done.

The house was built by Michigan-based C3 UP, which specializes in shipping container homes and businesses. The company makes tiny container homes that start at $31,500, and full-size shipping container houses like Schnepp's starting at $125,000.

Schnepp's house is over 2000sf. $125,000 is low for that. You can barely buy a piece of plywood for that price now ;-)
