OK - friday night meal is booked at 'El Puerto' (not much on the site, but here it is anyway: http://www.el-puerto.co.uk) - tapas bar (with good vegetarian options as well).
10mins walk from the Hotel

Booked in at 8pm

... and for Saturday... the 'floaty thing' (http://www.bristolferry.com)

There is a ferry stop near the Hotel (3mins) - a 'multi-stop' boat ticket costs about £7 (£5 if booked online).
This ferry does a round trip of 40mins, going past most of the tourist stuff around the harbour - including the SS Great Britain and a few good pubs and eateries (or so I am told)

I suggest we jump on that, and then jump on and off as we see fit

It seems that lots of people who said they were 'definites' are now pulling out at the last minute.

It looks like it might be best to cancel - could just be 4 or 5 of us as it stands.
