A search engine that favors text-heavy sites and punishes modern web design

I'm liking both the concept and what I see here.  I really want to see this continue development.

Hmm... for me I've just gotten "unresponsive server" responses.

Interesting idea though. I've always been a fan of lots of text. All else being equal, it is likely that the longer page is a better page. But I don't think it follows that the text-only page is likely to be the better page.

True.  Of course no search engine really rates a webpage's quality, only how popular a page is.

But listing text heavy pages is one way to filter out the commercial only pages and many advert farm pages and dreck.
