$52K for AWD and 274 miles of range. I'm not planning to make a reservation to buy one yet.

I think the 800V chargers will be 350kW as opposed to 250kW for the highest-power Tesla Superchargers. Normally, you should avoid drawing your battery below 20%. So you would charge 80% of a 100kW battery in 14 minutes under ideal conditions.

Even on a 120kW charger, Tesla recently reduced charge time by 25% by pre-heating the battery as you drive to the charger.

Still, it's going to take a lot of grid upgrades to roll out a large number of 350kW chargers. That's a massive amount of juice. It's a third of the capacity we have to power our entire subdivision of 200 homes.

Don't get me wrong. I think this is great. I'm just saying it will be years before the typical charge for you Kia will be on a 350kW charger.
