It kinda reminds me of 110-90 years ago when the automobile was coming on strong and a whole lot of startups got into the business.  Many went under, many were gobbled up but competitors.  It's a little different this time when because the established manufacturers are starting to take EVs seriously and will probably stomp out most of the startups around today.
