No, but I immediately shared the link with my wife... she's looking at the reviews now. I'll keep you posted

My wife actually found this one --shared by a friend.  I can't find a thing wrong with it ...no subscription.

One con is that it apparently does not convert handwriting to text onboard.

We have a need, which is why she showed it to me.  With my hefty medical schedules she often needs to be on her phone while the doctors' offices start spouting appointment info. But my calendar is on her phone.  She wants something to jot down the info manually then upload it later to her calendar.

That has a lot of potential.  Price is reasonable.  I like that they have different sizes too, but this pocket size one would be great.

Back in my Palm Pilot days, I always used the blank notepage feature to jot a quick note or telephone number because it was quicker than typing.

>on her phone

Yeah, I jot things down on the back of used envelopes while people are talking to me on the phone, so I get it.

It is basically a flip-book of whiteboards.  The app scans and converts to pdf, then you can save it to Drive or whatever.

"Each page of your Rocketbook contains a special QR code which tells the Rocketbook app the page number of each scan. That means no matter how or when you scan, we can always get your notes in the right order. Each page also has a narrow dark border surrounding it.(to set the perimeter of the scan?)"

You don't really need the RB app to convert a handwritten note to text you can copy-paste. The iphone's Live Text does that trick.

CON:  The ink erases and the pen dries up at 130-140f, so you can't keep one in your car in the summer.

I'm most interested to hear what she thinks about it.

One day in and she loves it. She does a lot of art, nature journaling and such and is a note taker. She is very particular about the paper she uses and the "pen feel" of a paper. She was skeptical and worried this would feel like a whiteboard, but decided to risk it given the price.

So far, she has said it is much better than expected in general and in particular with the writing feel.

Same here

Has proven to be useful.  The first one is to stay by the phone where she handles calls for my all my appointments and meds. I've just ordered another one to use at meetings, appointments, etc.

We are out on the road driving around the West trying to find places where it is raining (that is not the stated goal, but based on outcomes, it appears that's what we're trying to do)

The Rocket Book is always in Theresa's pocket and every time we have a "We need paper towels" or "drawer organizers would be nice" it goes in the Rocket Book. Very handy while traveling.
