To prevent the screen (about 3 clicks deep) from timing out while she did deeeep research in a massive printed tome of specific medical & lab products coming through customs.  There were software options, hardware, etc but we didn't think of THIS....

Brilliant. You might need something to tap the keyboard though. Although there must be something that is effectively the opposite of a key logger. Like a USB key that plays back all the keystrokes from a previous day of work.
