Karl Bushby is back and England walking back to his hometown and starting point. He circumnavigated the globe, including walking across the Bering Strait on ice and swimming the Caspian sea because both routes around it were closed to him.

He did use transport in at least one instance - he couldn't get a long-term visa in Russia and had to leave every 90 days and go back to where he left off.

I started following him when he had to swim across the Caspian Sea.
Crazy stuff, but what do you do after doing all that though, he'll have a whole new meaning to life after that.

First I heard of him.  I looked him up a bit.  Apparently, he's been at it since 1998.  On his Wikipedia page it seems that his biggest obstacle was dealing with the various government bureaucracies.

Relax a bit, maybe settle in the place he liked the most?  Maybe that's home?

It would be interesting to have a conversation with him about culture, what makes people the way they are and how similar/dissimilar humanity is from place to place.  I kind of have a notion that humans have a relatively universal base code, and the layers of experience and conditioning is what sets apart individuals and culture.
