spelling corrections being tested on Google?

I haven't seen it but a couple of people in the UK have told me they're getting autocorrected spelling (not instant and not just showing results for the correct spelling - actual correction of your spelling in the search box).

Anyone else seeing it? I hope this is one that dies

I have seen this on Google.com in Cape Town for the last 3 or 4 days - on and off though!
