I may have the first stages of cancer...

DB even if it is cancerous they can remove it, I was just talking to a friend whose boss had that, and they removed it and did a bit of plastic surgery and he was good as new.

You should take a look at your diet though, and taking supplements, there's a bunch of alternative stuff you can do to stay health.

Well, I'll be damned! I missed your grand appearance here! Nice to see your posts:)  I hope I find you well.

To be honest, I've been working on my health for years now in earnest; I even have a new 'Wellness Doctor' I'm going to down here that is testing me for everything under the sun right now because of some unknown low level chronic infection.  I never really recovered from when I got really sick ~7 years ago and it seems to be catching up with me again.  I've been sick my whole life, actually, going all the way back to sever asthma at 4yrs old, and having 7 gallstones at 7 years old, which required emergency surgery. I define inflammation. Thank God for my enormous capacity to overcompensate or people might mistake me for being sickly:)

Lol I missed you too DB it's good to be around here again :-)  And no, no one could ever think of you as sickly, you are the picture of wholesomeness and vitality ;-)

That sounds great, seems like you have it covered.  Have you looked into homeopathics?  I've been working with a homeopath for a couple of years and it's been amazing.  Keep us posted!!!

Going to a plant based whole foods diet has changed my world and my health.

I don' t know if you're into alternative medicine, but I've come across two things that have made a world of difference for finding and dealing with low level problems, either for me or my wife and a few people we know.

Applied Kinesiology
BioSet

A couple of hours with these alternatives has shown more than weeks/months/years of MDs.  (Not saying MDs are bad, but sometimes hard to find problems need alternative solutions.) I'm not talking a couple minor problems here or there, but 180 degrees of feeling better. I can tell you more about these if you're interested.

>alternatives
I'm into alternatives:) I do 3 day fasts, juice daily, use a Himalayan salt inhaler etc.

The biggest thing for me was getting a food allergy test which told me I basically am allergic to food, and indicates 'Leaky Gut Syndrome', which is results in malabsorption issues.  (http://www.usbiotek.com/Services_antibody-Assessment-Panels.php) I also have adrenal issues.  Apparently my lifestyle can't afford all the checks I've been writing all these years.  I'm literally burnt out, don't heal well, and generally on the wrong side of the medicine ball.

But to give you an idea what I'm talking about, I'm allergic to salad, whole wheat, bananas, cranberries, cucumbers, just to name a few of some 'healthy foods' most people would think would be the cure, not a cause.  It's because if you have this disorder, whatever you eat, you become allergic to... so the key is to eliminate many of these foods and rotate the rest so you don't eat the same food more than once every 4 days.  Of course the worse you are, the less options you have, and you know me, so my list includes almost nothing.  Meat, however, seems to be ok.  And I'm out of venison from last Fall's hunt, so I stuck with store bought meat, which I'm not so wild about, even if it is 'certified', but at least I don't react so badly to it.

Anyway, I appreciate everyone's well wishes, but there is no emergency here, so I think we can go back to our regularly scheduled bullshitting:)

Well knowing is half the battle. BioSet actually "resets" your body to remove allergies.

Quick analogy, you ingest something at a time of deep sickness - your body ties that which you ingested to your sickness and gives you a reaction every time from then on. BioSet resets this in your body allowing you to eat/drink normally. It can also help with even deep seeded true allergies, which are actually much more rare.

Amy was found to be allergic to almost everything, to some degree. It was very, very bad, there was not much she could eat without causing problems. BioSet has worked wonders for her, we are lucky to have one person in our city that does this. People travel from neighboring states for treatment. I understand its much bigger and more prevalent in California.

Myself, I was what our nutritionist called "Adrenal Exhausted" just constantly pushing and slamming myself. Cranked up to 11, 18-19 hours a day. (Sound familiar?) I'm finally starting to get through all of that, and it is huge.

As in muscle testing?  That works?  I've always doubted that.

Yep, it works. I won't be able to push the doc's arm back while he pinpoints a spot on my body. Fixes the problem and then I can. This guy fixed my back after herniating a disk in the gym, I couldn't stand up straight at times. I had to lay in the floor, straighten my back and then roll over and get up.  It took about 6 months, but no one else could help and I wasn't going to do surgery. This can also be used to show (but not fix) allergies. I would have never believed this had someone simply told me how it works, but I can say from first hand experience that it does.

The way it works sounds absolutely crazy, but I know of more than 2 people this has worked for (severe allergies removed), and this office stays booked up for weeks.

It's all computerized, they use an electrode held against your thumb and can test for allergies to anything, not just food.  It's pretty interesting to see what the machine can tell, it's a type of biometric scanner. It has shown things that Amy has been told before by others, as well as things she didn't know. My understanding is the system was created by the engineer who designed the MRI machine. The bioset specialist (ours is an RN) "sets" a vial of water specific to what you need after an hour or so of testing and you wear it against your skin, which causes your body to reset to normal. This is a nut shell description, but covers the basics. It takes a few weeks to set in, you go back and see where you're improving and where you're stagnant, additional tests are run, etc. etc. It's a process, I think Amy has gone 3-4 times now and she can eat wheat without feeling like total crap for 3 days after.

We got to the point it was worth a try, so we gave it a shot. We had nothing to lose but the office visit fee, and it worked.

ok, I'm a big fan of crazy shit that works, so I'll look into that...

I was a huge skeptic of the 'lemonade diet' for solving my completely stuffed up nose (for over a year that was not solved by pills) but after a 4 day fast my nasal passages opened up perfect.  It lasted for 6 months, then I did it for 3 days and it worked again.  6 months later my girl was sick, and finally gave in and tried it and it worked for her.  Niether one of us believed it would work but it was so obvious it did, there was no doubt it was the cause and not just a placebo affect.

thanks:)

I'm crazy worn out by allergies as well. Took a treatment at the doctors for a year with weekly injections. You know the usual way of treating allergies and it wore me out every time. I ended looking like the Michelin man from 4 shots - 2 in each arm.

It helped and my allergies are down a long way to what it was years ago, however I can't seem to shake it all off and this year I'm pretty sure there's a correlation between getting nasty serious migraine and allergies.

Sounds interesting with both the "lemonade diet" and Bioset - will look into it, thanks Dras.

Basically the lemonade is 1 lemon, some maple syrup, and cyanne pepper. That's it.  The guy who invented it is nuts (as in looney). They do it for 10 days.  The maple syrup gives you energy, but you should be taking it easy while you do this.  I've only gotten to day 4 before its enough. In fact, now it takes 2 days to tune me up.

The idea behind it is basically by starving yourself, your body starts to eat itself starting w all the weird shit it stored before that it didn't know what to with... And it's this build up of weird shit that you stored that is causing your allergies.

In any event, I don't know why it worked, only that it does work. Just ease yourself back into food w protein shakes, etc. don't go out and eat like a pig or you will end up totally constipated because you basically shut your digestive track down.
