hehehe I'll tell you though, that really is as good as you'll find.  

I was in my kitchen, working and those guys came in.  I thought they would warm up and start out light and instead I heard them actually start going pretty hard.  Normally, you don't get a chance to watch that level of fighting. Which is why it was so cool to actually watch it on youtube after just hearing it.  10+ minutes is a crazy long time to last with these guys.

And when you combine this level of grappling with striking, you end up with Fred (the younger brother who taps to the leg lock) who is 7 and 0 in his amateur career, and is fighting his first pro MMA fight next week, with 6 of 7 of his fights ending with first round finishes.


...it's some of the best 'no-gi' BJJ you'll ever see.

...this is what it looks like when you don't put him up against his big brother.

This is one of those first round finishes. It's boring because he always starts out by not doing anything stupid and learning his opponent.  Then he takes them down and submits them:)  Now that he is turning pro, He'lll be able to hit and elbow them on the ground.

Jiu-jitsu is more of a chess match.  And if you don't know the basic rules, you are going to be beaten the same way as if you sat down at a chess board for the first time and someone just said 'begin', and you had to figure out the rules of the game yourself.

...one on one, its the most effective way to fight, especially mixed with striking. It's just not for multiple people. That's where the whole Krav Maga philosophy comes in.

But me, I just like gi - the sport. 'Arte suave' the Brazilians call it, 'the gentle art', - it means we go 100% and no one ends up hurt, but in real life it means the little guy can win most of the time, if the big guy doesn't know enough technique.
