I just noticed we hit 2500 threads today, and realized we started this board right about 2 years ago. Seems like just a few months ago we went public, times flies and all that.

Glad everyone is here and things just keep rolling along.

Thanks to littleman for footing the bills and continuing to twist the knobs.

Here's to many more to come, Cheers!

I'd be happy to pitch in something to help, and I bet many others would too.

Do we have a way to make donations?

Glad I found the place (ciml had mentioned it and said he'd post one day...), and yes (I think we had a thread about this)... would be happy to chip in towards th3core paying for itself.

I have nagged and nagged littleman about putting up a paypal button.  He won't do it.  *hand up* Whatever.  I gave up nagging because it doesn't work.

Re: Donations, I'll put something up eventually.   Anyway, happy anniversary everyone and thank you for making the Core a place worth visiting.

Brad

Congrats to the Core, a most excellent place to visit on the Web.  And yes I would be happy to donate.

Not easy keeping a forum going and seems like we are getting busier.  Have loved some of the discussions and look forward to more.

It is what it is. Some of us have been together since the late 90s and have seen/withstood tectonic shifts in the online world.  Th3core is obviously fulfilling some sort of need for those who stay here ...mostly social, with the  occasional dash of webmastery, I'd say.  Not bad, really, as it takes something to even linger on in the facebook age.  It could be more, yes, but it could very easily be gone.  So, here's to the next 2 years.

Yea, a much high level of conversation when compared to the other forums that normally end in a 'mine is the biggest' competition.
That and I know I'm rubbing shoulders with true business people without the fluff.

The are at least two problems with this:

#1 is complacency.

#2 is that is that as we become more and more familiar with our environment and particularly those who share it with us, we tend to communicate more and more in grunts & nods.  While this works fine between, say, the Vikings and me, it's not going to do much for the threads.

BTW, I don't intend to start yet another annual "What's wrong with th3core thread." Nothing is wrong with th3core. You either have to accept it as it is or put your fingers on the keyboard and type more. That's it now and it has always been it.
